In late 2023, Ricard asked us for a refresh of the brand’s graphic codes, and we found ourselves in a unique situation: redesigning a logo we had created 7 years earlier. Yorgo drew a new sun icon to replace his ’R’ made of sunrays : a minimal, and generous circle, rising (or setting) behind our 2017 wordmark.

In the new brand codes, we redefined the usage of the exclusive typefaces we had previously delivered, and brought a more intense golden yellow. We also introduced a graphic pattern that plays with the historic Ricard frame, a bolder mention of the founding date, and we designed a wide range of communication items, from sun loungers to hooded sweatshirts

We hope this time the logo is iconic enough to avoid another redesign for the next few decades.
